The leather spaulders "Alistair" were manufactured by the Italian leather Manufactory "Fucina del Drago". They are made of high quality cowhide leather tanned in Tuscany and consist of five flexible segments. With their finely tooleded ornamental beading and curved lines, these leather spaulders are perfect for combination with the "Alistair" or "Kendra" series armour parts. Due to the many segments, the "Alistair" leather spaulders extend far to the upper arm and are an ideal complement for heavier armament concepts.

Gold Quality leather grease

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture.
Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. They will be protected effectively and recieve a new shine.

Intricately designed and assembled from many solid riveted segments, it is very stable in shape. Finely embossed beading and lines as well as brass rivets and the typical finish for "Fucina del Drago" make this helmet a special piece of armour. The richly decorated forehead segment is made in the form of a visor but not movable. With an elongated neck segment, the helmet reminds of a sallet.
We recommend to wear an uphostered cap under the helmet as it is not padded. This increases the wearing comfort and the protective effect considerably. This fantastic armour part is closed with a sturdy chin strap.
