This chain mail was made for bigger people and their need for bigger chain mail shirts.
It is app. XXL in size, is equipped with long sleeves and covers the thighs half way (depending on how much material you will need around the middle of the body. We suggest to wear a padded gambeson underneath any armour to avoid scratches and bruises. Those might occur at all times when wearing any metal armour. A belt will distribute the weight.

We suggest this chain mail for wearers with an chest circumference of app 90 cm to 125 cm. Armin cap canvas blue

"Armin" is a medieval head wear for men. It´s available in three sizes, to fit almost everyone. We recommend to decorate the "Armin" cap additionally with embroidering, a feather or a broach.This kind of head wear is called the italian beret and was developed from the "pillbox" headwear. It was mostly worn by townspeople and citizens of southern europe in the late medieval period until the renaissance. Lenora tiara cotton

The veil pictured is intended to demonstrate the function and manner of wearing the forehead band and is not included in the delivery. The "Lenora" tiara is part of a so called "Schapel" (circlet) head piece: a ring of cloth added to a basic head scarf. The combination results in the "Gebende" (wimple), a well known medieval headdress for women. Starting in the 12th century, it was unusual for married women to show their hair openly. A combination of veils and tightly bound scarfs, which were additionally bound underneath the chin, was the most common and widely used headdress. One purpose of this cloth tiara is its ornamental role; you can individually adorn this plain item with embroideries or fabric paint. Its second purpose is holding the veil or the wimple in place. The tiara itself has a circumference of approx. 56cm, but the size can be slightly adjusted by the amount of the veils and cloth worn underneath. For optimal mobility of the Katharina armour and a good fit, we have separated the upper and lower parts of the torso armour. The Katharina armour belt forms the lower part of the torso and is worn beneath the breastplate. It is fastened with a wide leather strap at the back. The size of the armour belt can be adjusted individually using the strap and by carefully bending it. The tassets are attached to the four front straps, which we offer separately, as well as in a convenient set along with the armour belt. Other tassets from our 'Mytholon Artware' armours can also be combined with these armour belts, such as Lambert, Galahad, Ortwin, or Edward. All parts of this armour are naturally fluted to ensure safety for you and your fellow participants.
