The tunic was not only worn by Romans in antiquity, but it was also popular throughout Europe from the early to the late Middle Ages. It was the basic clothing for men and women and was subject to constant changes through new cuts.

Our tunic "Gadaric" is the base for a great variety of medieval outfits. It is slightly bell-shaped from the hip downwards and slitted at the front and back. The generously cut sleeves allow great freedom of movement, for example when fighting.

As an undergarment, for example under a gambeson, it dissipates moisture from the body while staying breathable, similar to a modern undershirt.
As an upper garment in combination with a belt from our range of products, it is almost an outfit on its own. When combined with a pair of trousers and a belt bag, you are ready dressed for a visit to the next medieval fair.

Lea bodice black

The bodice "Lea" is a great add-on to complete any costume. Wide shoulder straps and a full lining make this a nice piece for any female character. It may be worn by itself or in combination with one of our many blouses. "Lea" is figure-hugging and will individually adjust to the wearer's body due to an elastic band around the waist. In front, there is a decorative lacing. The bodice may be closed by means of a lacing on the back. Material: 90% cotton and 10% polyester PLEASE NOTE: Size XS comes up really small; therefore, we recommend that size for young heroines.
