Product information "Galahad belt shield"

This small belt shield completes the "Galahad" torso armour.
Use the two buckles to strap it to the centre part of the chest plate and to cover up the unprotected parts in your crotch.
It may be a small armour piece, but it brings a huge effect to any armour, as it can be used to paint heraldic colours on it.
This shield can also be added to any exsisting armour, but may need some handiwork to get it attached.

Ever since the 1st century BC the double shoulder mail was eliminated and the shirt was shortened. Richard chain mail flat rings

The exact origin of mail is not known, but the earliest examples were found to be made in the 4th century BC. One of the earliest discoveries is the mail from the Hjortspring swamp in todays Denmark. In the 12th and 13th century it developed to the most important piece of armour in Europe. This chain mail is made for men with a medium chest circumference. It is wide enough to be worn on top of a gambesons. It is made with long sleeves and reaches down to, approximately, the knees.The blank chain mail is finished in shiny zinc; the rings are treated electro-chemically, and therefore need a little less treatment, than untreated models. The oil finished one needs more care, we suggest to use Ballistol machine oil on a regular basis for treatment. Galahad spaulders

A pair of huge spaulders, equippe with sword breakers and besagew on each side.The spaulders are made from multiple parts that are riveted together. This way the wearer will still be able to move his arms freely and is not limited in movement.The sword breakers on the inside enlarge the entire spaulder from the side view. Use the inner buckle to strap the spaulders to the \\"Galahad\\" torso armour; additionally there is a buckle-strap for the upper arm. The besagew cover the armpit, the place with auxilliary arteries - vital parts, so to say. This is the armour part, where you have the possibility to paint your own heraldic colours onto.
