European belt buckles have been dated back to the Roman Empire. Prior to the buckle the roman and germanic people used a ring, made from various materials. This shape of buckle was used until the medieval period. The "Doran" series' ring belt copies this shape of buckle. The belt is made from split leather and grades almost every costume up, as the characteristic medieval knot shows the wearer linked to this period. The belt is tightened by pulling the strap through the ring a little more, than needed and securing it right behind it. The upper end is pulled through the loop then and lead to to the bottom - simple as it sounds: this is it! The knot is tightened and stays in place now. We advice to use leather fat on a regulat basis for the caretaking of split leather. Our "Gold Quality" leather fat will certainly be the best choice. Der Bambus wird vor der Produktion gekocht, getrocknet und dann verarbeitet. Das Besteck eignet sich nicht für die Verwendung in einer Mikrowelle oder Spülmaschinen. The big belt bag "Leon" is made of thick upper leather and very sturdy. It has internal seams and is shaped a bit "bulbous". The edges are surrounded by suede.  This spacious bag is closed with a cast brass buckle with no roll. The sturdy, double riveted beltloops are very generously designed. The suede vest "Laertes" has a stand-up collar and is closed with five robust leather straps. Simple cut, it is ideal for down-to-earth costumes. As protection against wind and light rain, it can be worn ideally as a middle layer, e.g. over a tunic and under a cloak. We recommend letting wet, dirty suede dry and then gently brushing it out.
