The "Ragur" leather armour is made from woven leatherstrips and combines movability with protection and a great look. This pretty armour vest is a very special eyecatcher. It is made of hemmed and braided leather strips, that are riveted at each single crosspoint. Through this, its surface is getting very stabile and almost like a brigantine. It is very flexible and hardly hinders your movements, but it gives good protection for your body.It is suitable for light soldiers and especially for bow- or crossbow-men, as you can move around freely and a your arms are uncovered.As seen in our costume proposal, the vest can be well combined with chainmail or a chainmail collar. It also fits over a gambeson.
