The cloak "Tilly" already comprises the first half for all "cloak-and-dagger"-inspired outfits ‒ if you'll allow the crude pun; the fact is that this hip-length shoulder cape contributes greatly to the visual appearance of any outfit resembling musketeers or any other rapier or dagger wielding hero of the 17th century. It is worn over one shoulder and held in place with a strap beneath the other arm. This allows freedom for the sword arm so the wearer can dance with beguiling ladies or quarrelsome villains. Made of strong premium cotton fabric, it is a faithful companion even in tight spots. It is well up to shielding the wearer from light rain, but bear in mind that it is an accessory rather than functional apparel. Rogues, charming heroes and heroines, but also merchants and highborn lords and ladies are always well clad with the Tilly cloak.

A simple but stylish cloak. What is special about it is the binding. Two long straps have to be crossed over the chest, behind the back and knotted around the belly. Thus the cloak stays in place and does not pull at the throat even if the wearer is moving a lot. It goes along perfectly well with armour as it will cover the binding in the front and the cloak will fit nicely around the collar.

European belt buckles have been dated back to the Roman Empire. Prior to the buckle the roman and germanic people used a ring, made from various materials. This shape of buckle was used until the medieval period. The "Doran" series' ring belt copies this shape of buckle. The belt is made from split leather and grades almost every costume up, as the characteristic medieval knot shows the wearer linked to this period. The belt is tightened by pulling the strap through the ring a little more, than needed and securing it right behind it. The upper end is pulled through the loop then and lead to to the bottom - simple as it sounds: this is it! The knot is tightened and stays in place now. We advice to use leather fat on a regulat basis for the caretaking of split leather. Our "Gold Quality" leather fat will certainly be the best choice.
