Lenora tiara cotton

The veil pictured is intended to demonstrate the function and manner of wearing the forehead band and is not included in the delivery. The "Lenora" tiara is part of a so called "Schapel" (circlet) head piece: a ring of cloth added to a basic head scarf. The combination results in the "Gebende" (wimple), a well known medieval headdress for women. Starting in the 12th century, it was unusual for married women to show their hair openly. A combination of veils and tightly bound scarfs, which were additionally bound underneath the chin, was the most common and widely used headdress. One purpose of this cloth tiara is its ornamental role; you can individually adorn this plain item with embroideries or fabric paint. Its second purpose is holding the veil or the wimple in place. The tiara itself has a circumference of approx. 56cm, but the size can be slightly adjusted by the amount of the veils and cloth worn underneath. Tudor armour jerkin black

Even the best plate armour is useless if the wearer can not move in it. Oftentimes you have to find a compromise between padding and freedom of movement. The late medieval "Tudor" jerkin was specifically designed to be worn underneath a steel torso armour. In this way, "Tudor" protects the wearer from pressure marks and the impact of an opponent's blows without limiting the mobility. The arms are not padded, but have a double layer of thick canvas fabric. This increases mobility while at the same time preventing the arm guards worn on top from chafing the skin. Additional holes allow the fastening of light armour parts, such as the armshield "Wilhelm" with strings. Ribbons with fixed tips are used to lace this jerkin. Naturally, this gambeson can be worn separately, without any kind of armour on top. Osric leather armour

The "Osric" leather armour is developed from our favored classic, the "Justus" suede tabard. The suede was reinforced with ~3mm strong upper leather plates, which makes "Osric" not only very light and flexible, but adds great protection. It can be adjusted to the wearer by lacings on both sides, while it is closed by rims & buckles in the front. Thereby it can be qucikly put on or off in an "emergency". Attention: for now not all sizes are in stock, but still in production. Material: suede, upper leatherLeather is a product of nature and may take dyes differently. Arthur padded vest

The padded vest "Arthur" is backstitched in diamond-shape and closed by four buckle-straps in the front. The sleeves and the seam on the bottom is riveted with brass eyelets, which allows the tassets and the sleeves to be combined with the jacket.The diamond-shaped backstitching povides an extra in movability and, at the same time, keeps up the padding, which avoids bruises and scratches.
