It consists of segmented tassets which are attached to a sturdy belt of split leather by means of enclosed leather straps. With additional eyelets, the tassets can be placed in different places of the belt and are therefore optimally adjustable for individual size and body shape. The replacement ring "Cretzer" for Katzbalger swords produced by Calimacil is an ideal solution if you mislaid or damaged your ring-shaped crossguard in the fray of battle. Similar to the foam weapon it belongs to, the ring is made from the extremely durable special foam the Canadian manufactory is so well known for.
