Their generous, light cut does not only lend a great deal of mobility in combat but also makes it comfortable to wear even in summer, while the soft wool material also warms on colder days. Attention: The waistband of these trousers is very (!) generous. Please don’t be surprised by how wide they are; this is due to the design of a Rus pant. The lacing allows for individual adjustment for each wearer—the pleats are simply distributed evenly around the waist. Although it might not seem possible at first glance, these trousers can be laced very tightly and are suitable for slimmer individuals as well. The sizes for this type of trousers mainly refer to leg length and, importantly, calf width. The trousers are made after the historical model of the rush pant, which was worn in the eastern Baltic region up to the 11th century. The cut is very generous, allowing for a wide range of movement. The trousers are laced at the waist and behind the knees. Traditionally, the calf portion of these trousers is very narrow, so if you frequently ride a bicycle and have "muscular" calves, we recommend choosing a larger size.
