Product information "Galahad spaulders"

A pair of huge spaulders, equippe with sword breakers and besagew on each side.
The spaulders are made from multiple parts that are riveted together. This way the wearer will still be able to move his arms freely and is not limited in movement.

The sword breakers on the inside enlarge the entire spaulder from the side view. Use the inner buckle to strap the spaulders to the \\"Galahad\\" torso armour; additionally there is a buckle-strap for the upper arm.
The besagew cover the armpit, the place with auxilliary arteries - vital parts, so to say. This is the armour part, where you have the possibility to paint your own heraldic colours onto. A small colourful armour piece will loose up the complete blank look of the armour.

Gold Quality leather grease

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. They will be protected effectively and recieve a new shine. Material: vaseline, bone marrow oil, genuine bees wax Colour: natural Volume: 190 ml

Galahad belt shield

This small belt shield completes the "Galahad" torso armour.Use the two buckles to strap it to the centre part of the chest plate and to cover up the unprotected parts in your crotch.It may be a small armour piece, but it brings a huge effect to any armour, as it can be used to paint heraldic colours on it. Galahad tassets

The matching tassets for the "Galahad" torso armour.Equipped with two buckles on the top, these tassets can be strapped to the front plate of the "Galahad" chestplate and cover the thighs. Richard chain mail flat rings

The exact origin of mail is not known, but the earliest examples were found to be made in the 4th century BC. One of the earliest discoveries is the mail from the Hjortspring swamp in todays Denmark. In the 12th and 13th century it developed to the most important piece of armour in Europe. This chain mail is made for men with a medium chest circumference. It is wide enough to be worn on top of a gambesons. It is made with long sleeves and reaches down to, approximately, the knees.The blank chain mail is finished in shiny zinc; the rings are treated electro-chemically, and therefore need a little less treatment, than untreated models. The oil finished one needs more care, we suggest to use Ballistol machine oil on a regular basis for treatment.
