The tunic was wide spread within Europe from the antiquity up to the late medieval period. It was worn by men and women in various patterns and in all social classes. Tunics are found in todays T-Shirt and have influenced our culture like no other piece of clothing has. The cotton tunic from our "Wolfram" series is liberally cut and the perfect undergarment for the hot summer days. The moisture absorbing and tear-resistance of the cotton make this the ideal choice for summer. The neckline is closed with two strings, small buttons close the sleeves on the wrists. The tunic is bell-shaped below the belt and has a long slit in the front. This provides the neccessary movability for the user when dancing, running or sword fighting. Wear it underneath a gambeson - the moisture controling properties make it the perfect undergarment under existing padding. Combined with a pair of pants, a simple belt and some small belt bags, it is a basic costume for medieval markets or LARP events. Material: cotton

Katharina Armor Belt

For optimal mobility of the Katharina armour and a good fit, we have separated the upper and lower parts of the torso armour. The Katharina armour belt forms the lower part of the torso and is worn beneath the breastplate. It is fastened with a wide leather strap at the back. The size of the armour belt can be adjusted individually using the strap and by carefully bending it. The tassets are attached to the four front straps, which we offer separately, as well as in a convenient set along with the armour belt. Other tassets from our 'Mytholon Artware' armours can also be combined with these armour belts, such as Lambert, Galahad, Ortwin, or Edward.
All parts of this armour are naturally fluted to ensure safety for you and your fellow participants. The inner parts have been painted to protect against rust, although this paint may peel off over time. We recommend regular maintenance with oil, such as the Ballistol available from us.

The Italian company "Fucina del Drago" is well-known for its beautiful
leather products. Born from their workshops, "Artemis" is a very elaborately crafted torso armour for women. Hardened upper leather was shaped and rigidly fixed together using durable brass rivets in order to create the armour's chest and back portions. Refined embossings showing celtic knots embellish the edges and the center of the chest. provides colourful accents and allows the combination of various pieces
for functional wearing. This is why the "Lenora" sleeveless tunic was
made to be worn in combination with an undergarment. The low cut
frontline may be closed by means of a rustic leather string. If you
would like to have a finer lacing in that particular area, we recommend
also purchasing a fabric lace in your desired colour.
The generously cut armholes allow the wearer to wear undergarments,
yet provide the necessary mobility. The knee-length tunic is
bell-shaped towards the bottom and narrowed down on the waistline. The
slit on the sides allows for great freedom of leg movement. This tunic is sewn from our premium cotton. The densly woven fabric is robust yet soft.
We offer the matching ladies tunic "Lenora" designed as an
undergarment to combine with this sleeveless variation. You may also
want to check out the "Marita", "Alina" and "Ursula" undergarments -
there are lots of possible combinations of colours, shapes, and
functions for any existing outfit.
