Looking quite like the "Georg" series' bracers, we left the rivets and additional beading along the ridge be and offer a central bending instead. This allows the material to be less fexible and being more stiff along the longside.
They are being closed around the forearm by two buckle-straps.

Richard chain mail flat rings

The exact origin of mail is not known, but the earliest examples were found to be made in the 4th century BC. One of the earliest discoveries is the mail from the Hjortspring swamp in todays Denmark. In the 12th and 13th century it developed to the most important piece of armour in Europe. This chain mail is made for men with a medium chest circumference. It is wide enough to be worn on top of a gambesons. It is made with long sleeves and reaches down to, approximately, the knees.The blank chain mail is finished in shiny zinc; the rings are treated electro-chemically, and therefore need a little less treatment, than untreated models. The oil finished one needs more care, we suggest to use Ballistol machine oil on a regular basis for treatment. Manolo barbute

The barbute is the italian variation of the bascinet and was very popular in the 14th and 15th century. The sallet and the french armet helmet developed out of it later in the 15th century. The "Manolo" barbute protects the scull and covers the neck entirely, leaving the face open, jet protected by cutting only the most unneccessary parts from the face mask.
