Initially the skirt was a piece of clothing for both: men and women alike. It was made with sleeves and was worn as everyday clothing in all social classes. Only later the skirt developed into the shape we know it as today. The ankle long skirt "Anna" is built with a wide, comfortable waistband. The lacing on the back can be used to adjust the skirt indivudually to the wearers body. Rough canvas provides the neccessary durability on LARP events and medieval markets. When combined with the blouse and the bodice from the "Anna" series, this costume provides a good basis for a tavern maidens dress. Now also available in light brown! The gloves Kandor are made of high quality suede. They are robust and solidly manufactured, therefore you can also use them for fighting or wear them underneath a pair of gauntlets. Nevertheless the suede is soft and comfortable on the skin. The wrist width can be adjusted by a loop with press buttons. The long cuff has got three decorative buckle straps at the side, that can be used to adjust the width. The "Taras" lace-up boots are inspired by the traditional riding boots of the Cossacks. In the second edition, we have further improved the fit of these boots to offer even more comfort and flexibility. Made from durable cowhide leather, the shafts can be adjusted to the calves thanks to the lacing. A strap with a brass buckle provides additional support. The "Taras" boots can be worn both fully closed or partially open and turned down, giving them a versatile look. They are slightly narrower in cut but adapt perfectly to the wearer's foot due to the elastic material. For wider feet, we recommend choosing one size up or using insoles. In this second edition, we have also incorporated a waterproof plastic sole with a fine profile, providing good grip and durability.
