The tunic was wide spread within Europe from the antiquity up to the late medieval period. It was worn by men and women in various patterns and in all social classes. Tunics are found in todays T-Shirt and have influenced our culture like no other piece of clothing has. The "Lenora" womens tunic is made from durable canvas fabric and a perfect underdress for many costumes. Whether you wear it underneath a dress, a bodice or a gambeson: it absorbs moisture, but will stay permeable to air. The tunic can also be worn as a costume itself on hot summer days - the ankle long shape covers the body completly but will keep the temperature mild due to its fabric.
Combined with a ladies belt from our stock, it is an airy, yet robust, alternative to tighter undergarments. You can easily use this tunic as a nightgown on events - there is little worse getting out of bed at night when the plot asks for it. It also looks great on the way to the lavatory. The cottons hygienic properties are perfectly suited for this use. Our "Lenora" womens tunic is a simple, jet multi purpose functional piece of clothing.

Wool is an isolating and temperature regulating fabric. It can absorb moisture without being wet to the touch and still isolate warmth on the inside. The soft surface is dirt- and water-repellent. Outer layers, like our "Ursula" bodice, benefit from this wonderful trait. Worn on top of an undergarment it warms on cool days and protects from light rain. Wear it open, as an open vest or close it all the way with the lacing - both looks good. The vest is fitted along the waistline. The black contrast on the edges stretch the vest and let the wearer appear slimmer and longer. The material and the special weaving pattern make the fabric very resilient and tear-resistant. The front and back sides are identical, so it is not important how exactly you use the fabric. This fabric is an allrounder that feels nice to the touch. Creative sewing and craft enthusiasts will be able to make almost any given part of their outfit themselves using our cotton canvas. It can be used wherever durable cotton quality is needed. An undergarment should not only warm the body, but provide some volume to the overgarment as well. It can easily be used as a nightgown or be combined with a simple bodice to built up a simple costume. The undergarment "Ursula" is made from light cotton and has a wide cut. Cotton soaks up moisture and leads it away from the wearers body. Thats why it is ideal for an undergarment. The short, wide cut sleeves and the neck opening are to be closed with laces. "Armin" is a medieval head wear for men. It´s available in three sizes, to fit almost everyone. We recommend to decorate the "Armin" cap additionally with embroidering, a feather or a broach. This kind of head wear is called the italian beret and was developed from the "pillbox" headwear. It was mostly worn by townspeople and citizens of southern europe in the late medieval period until the renaissance.
