The collar of the “Mina” armour is functionally designed and defined by a clearly curved linework. Its slim construction gives it a calm, well-balanced appearance. Riveted edge flanges structure the surface and reference a classic design element of modern plate armour, allowing the collar to be easily combined with a wide range of other armour components. The hornsling "Castagir", from the house "Fucina del Drago" was decorated with elaborate, Celtic knot patterns. It is shaped slightly conical to its underside, so every horn sits securely in its place.
