De l’ouest arrivait une terrible nouvelle. Il y avait depuis peu des mouvements dans l’ombre, des sombres rumeurs. Nos éclaireurs étaient revenus, tremblants, et nous ont annoncé qu’une grande armée se levait, formée des plus viles créatures qui aient jamais vu le jour. Contrairement aux anciennes guerres, chaque monstre était équipé de la même manière: une armure simple mais robuste et une épée tout aussi redoutable. Nos ennemis seront donc organisés. Rapidement, nous nous sommes mis aux préparatifs de guerre.
