This helmet was designed following the exsample of the nothern european normanns helmet:
Having a noseguard riveted to it´s forehead, this helmet should be renamed nasal helmet.
It was widely spread over the entire continent, not exclusevly known to the normanns only. In it´s typical form this helmet has a high headpiece and the noseguard.
Suitable not only for early-medieval or norman characters...

We suggest to wear the combination of a chain coif or a padded coif with this helmet.

Questo elmo è ispirato al classico modello delle borgognotte dei primi anni del 16° secolo. La testa è ben protetta da una cerelliera tonda rinforzata da una cresta alta centrale, il viso è protetto da una visiera anteriore e le guance da paragnatidi su entrambi i lati. Entrambi i guanciali sono decorati con traforature floreali all'altezza delle orecchie per mantenere un buon udito all'inerno dell'elmo. Protezione spiovente anche per il collo per una copertura totale che si congiunge perfettamente con il pettorale. La Borgognotta, che altro non è che l'evoluzione del Salletto nel 16° secolo, rimane l'elmo più diffuso in nel 16° e 17° secolo subito dopo il Morione.
