Product information "Lucas belt shield"

Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. This belt shield was, just like the entire "Lucas" series, built with a corrugation along the edge. It is worn on the belt, which is pulled through the two leather belt loops on the top. Naturally it can be worn as a small tasset on the thigh. The belt shields are, just like our arm shields, ideal to be painted, modded and combined with existing costume parts. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to üainting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.

The "Osric" leather armour is developed from our favored classic, the "Justus" suede tabard. The suede was reinforced with ~3mm strong upper leather plates, which makes "Osric" not only very light and flexible, but adds great protection. It can be adjusted to the wearer by lacings on both sides, while it is closed by rims & buckles in the front. Thereby it can be qucikly put on or off in an "emergency". Lenora sleeveless tunic wool brown discontinued

This leads to structure, provides colourful accents and allows the combination of various pieces for functional wearing. This is why the "Lenora" sleeveless tunic was made to be worn in combination with an undergarment. The low cut frontline is being closed with a rustic leather string. If you wish to have a slightly finer lacing, you can take a look at our fabric laces in various colours to exchange the delivered one. The generous cut armholes allow the wearer to wear undergarments, jet provide the necessary movability when being fully dressed. The knee-long tunic is shaped bell-like towards the bottom and fitted on the waistline. The slit on the sides allows a free movability of the legs while running, dancing or hunting evil-doers. Matching the "Gustav" series, this shield is not decorated, but meets the series' style with plain and undecorated beauty. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh.
