Product information "Tjure stage fight sword"

"Tjure" is a viking sword built along historical patterns from 8th to 10th century Denmark. The sword is made with a fuller along the blade. The short, rounded crossguard and the pommel were designed simple, yet characteristic for the period and region.
The handle is made from wood, pinned to the hilt by rivets.

We suggest to use "Ballistol" for the caretaking of this weapon.

Godegisel stage fight sword

Our stage fighting swords are made of spring steel with the common safety features for display weapons. With a 2 mm wide striking edge and rounded tip, they are not only a fancy decoration, but can also be used to display a controlled fight. Any impact marks on the blade are due to the manufacturer's quality control. They are unavoidable to test the blade for breaking strength before delivery.Being made for chopping, the spatha is a double edged sword. It has a straight, broad blade and is wielded with one hand. This sword shape was introduced in the 1st century and was in use until the barbarian migration period. Our "Godegisel" sword is built along these models. Balthasar torso armour browned

The torso armour from our "Balthasar" series consists of two pieces: the chest and the back plate. Both are connected with a strap on each side and a strap on either side of the shoulders. That allows an individual adjustment for each wearer. The chest plate is made from seven seperate segments which are riveted to each other. Its moving parts underneath the arms allow a free movement and agility of the wearer. The elaboratly made back plate is rigid and decorated with lots of rivets. The lower two segments are moveable and allow a bending of the upper body. The matching big spaulders can be attached to the shoulders of the armour. Rolling shapes and segments, just as the offset bordering and the decoration with rivets, add structure and character to this great armour. We suggest to wear a padded gambeson underneath all metal armours to avoid scratches and bruises on the body.
