Our "Fafnir" body armour is something really special. Metal plates have been riveted on a backing of padded suede. Especially the comfort of the wearer and the feasibility of putting on a complete suit of armour in a few minutes were our goals. Because of this there is no need to wear a gambeson or a similar garment.You have the choice between three different adjustments which you can make yourselves. The different parts of the armour are connected by leather straps. The three different sizes are achieved by pulling these straps through eyelets. Additionally, you can omit some parts of the armour, eg. the shoulder parts or the thigh protectors.In our opinion, the browned version of the "Fafnir" armour is specially suited to be used as armour for dark and evil NPCs, because they won`t need much time to arm themselves. The "Fafnir" greaves consist of three solid riveted segments. A lower foot protection, which, thanks to the generous, padding, allows the greaves to be comfortably worn down to the boots, an extra padded segment for the knees and the actual protection for the shin. With their curved lines and wide beading, the greaves look sleek and elegant, with maximum protection. Due to the overlapping segments, they are very stable and do not deform even in the case of heavy duty. Like all the armour of the "Fafnir" series, these greves are equipped with padded suede upholstery. This increases the wearing comfort considerably and also protects knees and feet. They are closed with sturdy leather straps and roll buckles on the back. Armours of the "Fafnir" series are not only for characters with "Nordic" background a decent protection. The Armour Skirt "Tenebra" completes our Armour Jacket:The skirt is made in the same style like the vesting. The upper layer consists of suede leather, which was backstitched on a cotton lining.All that offers a good protection to the wearer. The stripes hang down on the thighs like a skirt does.
