This new Katzbalger blade was forged for a more historically accurate look. With a well defined point, sharp edges, and heavier handle, this sword is easy to wield and looks great. Still made of our famous Calimacil foam, it stays safe and extremely durable. Steel-coloured, the blade sits atop of a silver handle with tarnished gold details. your choice of removable guard, the same as our katanas' tsubas, make this sword more versatile and easier to store.
The Katzbalger sword absolutely must be part of historical reenactors' outfits, especially those of the Renaissance.

The replacement ring "Cretzer" for Katzbalger swords produced by Calimacil is an ideal solution if you mislaid or damaged your ring-shaped crossguard in the fray of battle. Similar to the foam weapon it belongs to, the ring is made from the extremely durable special foam the Canadian manufactory is so well known for. With its many ornaments and detailed finish, the "Cretzer" ring makes for a lovely substitute crossguard.Material: FoamDimension: 11.5 x 11.5cmFoam weapons made by Calimacil may show small holes in the foam due to production.All items made by the manufacturer "Calimacil" are hand-crafted in a little workshop in
