Product information "Lucas gorget"

This small gorget was designed for young heroes and ladies - bigger necks will have difficulties fitting in there.
The gorget is being closed with a buckle on the right shoulder and opened on the left one. It is made with a short "turtle neck", having a completly different appearance as any other gorget on the market. There are no fixpoints for spaulders attached on this gorget.

Attention: The bump on the lower backside is for ergonomic fitting and NOT a damage.

It consists of three pieces: the two cups for the front and the back plate.The two cups are held together by a leather strip and are attached to the back plate with four buckles. Berthold sallet

This helmet shows a high, pointed scull piece with an enlongened neck protection. The part on the forehead is riveted to the helmet and provides an additional protection to the wearer. The scull part is made with a spine.The visor can be moved upwards to allow a better breathing for the wearer in between battle moments.The helmet is made with an inner inlay of foam (covered in cotton) and has a chin strap attached.The sallet is a very common helmet type for the late medieval period and was often worn in combination with gotic armourment. Lucas breastplate

The products from our "Lucas" series are specially designed for the young heroes. They look like the ones for adults but are cut a lot smaller. Additionally we put a lot of emphasis on flexible sizes so that they can "grow" a little bit with the young wearers. The breastplate is composed of two inflexible pieces and has an extra short cut. It is closed crosswisely with two leather straps on the back and therefore quite variable in its size. Sigismund burgonet

This helmet is built along the historical bouronet from the early 16th century. The head is well protected inside a round scull cap with a high riser in the centre of the spine. The face is covered by the small brim in the front and the two cheek flaps on the sides. Lucas belt shield

Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. This belt shield was, just like the entire "Lucas" series, built with a corrugation along the edge. It is worn on the belt, which is pulled through the two leather belt loops on the top. Naturally it can be worn as a small tasset on the thigh. The belt shields are, just like our arm shields, ideal to be painted, modded and combined with existing costume parts. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to üainting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Ketill pants canvas black

Attention: The upper seam on the hip is really wide. Do not wonder, but see the Rus pants cut as an authentic (and surprisingly: very comfortable) way of wearing them.These pants were made following the example set by the Rus-pants.
