Product information "Antonius tassets"

The "Antonius" tassets matching our "Antonius" leather cuirass, made by the Italian manufactury "Fucina del Drago". They can easily be attached to the torso armous by means of two adjustable straps. The cuirass' embossed ornamental bands are repeated on the tassets. They complete the armour and form an optical continuation of the torso armour design. Of course, they also protect your thighs against hits in combat, allowing you to avoid many a bruise with style.

The Italian company "Fucina del Drago" (which translates into Dragon Forge) is famous for its beautiful leather products. They only process high-quality leather there. Elaborate embossed designes and the antique patina make these armor parts a real eye-catcher.

The Italian leather manufactory is setting new standards with a revised design of this leather armour.

Gold Quality leather grease

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. Mina gorget

"Mina" was made as an armour for women. Naturally we had to resign from historical patterns, as equality was not that popular amongst the medieval knight. Today we are proud to announce, that there is a way to dress strong women for the battlefield - using this armour set, you will not only be good looking on the field of glory, ladies! The gorget is, just like the entire "Mina" series, built similary to the "Balthasar" series: decorations with rivets along the edge beading are a returning design element in both armours. Both armour series can easily be combined with each other. A slim built and swung lines provide a delicate shape to this gorget. It does not overlap with the chest plate or spaulders, so that you can use the space for creative costume pieces. It also offers more movability to this area.
