Landsknecht crossbow

Attention: The Landsknecht crossbow is delivered with unstained/light-coloured wood (new picture to follow). Chinese peasants defended their fortified villages with it, Roman legionaries brought it to the forests of Germania, and the Normans deployed it in Hastings. From the marksmen guilds of medieval cities to modern shooters, the crossbow has been and still is a popular and easy-to-use weapon for many hundred years. The "Landsknecht" crossbow by IDV continues this long tradition and adapts it to the special needs of LARP. Where once a bow made of wood for vigourous power, we find in this modern version a bow of almost indestructible fiberglass. This material makes the bow not only very durable, it also ensures a constant power independent of Temperature and humidity. The stock is made of wood and brown varnished. The sturdy stirrup, the fittings, the bolt holder and the high-quality release mechanism with the long trigger lever are made of galvanized steel.The crossbow will be delivered disassembled and can be easily mounted with the supplied Allen. The small Allen also serves as a locking pin, inserted into an opening in the trigger mechanism.Important: Only the long IDV Bolts are suitable for this crossbow.
