All our products from the "Gustav" series combine simple design and functionality at a great price performance ratio. This series of low cost plate armour gives you the opportunity to arm yourself without spending lots of money. Its design suits many different character concepts and therefore you will be able to use it over and over again for many years. It is also great for medieval fairs and historic events.
The torsoplate is composed of three inflexible pieces. The middle part with its sloping edges and the rivet decoration makes for a nice eye catcher. It is closed crosswisely with two leather straps on the back and is therefore quite variable in its size.

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. The plate chausses are attached to a waist belt by a strap on the outside. Three further buckle straps are used to fix them to the wearers´s legs. The length of the beltstrap can be varied to adjust the size of the chausses according to the length of the respective leg. Material: 1.2 mm steel

Three further buckle straps are used to fix them to the wearers´arm. Their position can be varied by the shoulder strap and thus adapted to the wearer individually. The simple round cowter can easily be decorated with heraldic symbols. Puttees have been in use from the Iron Age until the medieval times. It was "reinvented" by the military and used as regular equipment for soldiers in World War I. and in the second World War. With its 380 cm length, it can be used for wrapping up to the knee - even thicker calfs should get their share of warmth.
